Summer 2024
GGAB continues its mission to enhance youth literacy, playing a vital role in El Pasoans Fighting Hunger's efforts. Our partnership provides books and educational materials to children, complementing the food bank's essential work in the community. The importance of literacy in breaking cycles of poverty aligns perfectly with their goals, making our collaboration more impactful.
At the 2nd annual Noche De Estrellas Reverse Gala, GGAB’s presence was a highlight for the children. It was heartwarming to see donors, who support EPFH's cause year-round, step into the spirit of serving, ensuring every guest a wonderful and memorable experience. As GGAB continues to provide essential literacy materials, we look forward to growing this partnership and bringing the joy of reading to even more children.

As a Global Give-A-Book team member, attending the 2nd annual Noche De Estrellas Reverse Gala was an unforgettable experience. From the moment you arrive, the festive atmosphere embraces you—mariachi music filled the air, flamenco dancers captivated the crowd, and smiles were visible all around. But the highlight, for me, was watching the children light up when they saw the books and activities set up just for them. While the El Paso Children’s Hospital mascots were a hit amongst all, the real magic was in the joy the children felt as they explored the new books brought specifically for them.
GGAB’s role in enhancing youth literacy through this partnership with El Pasoans Fighting Hunger is something I’m incredibly proud of. We’re not just giving books; we’re giving hope, education, and a brighter future. That night, it was clear our efforts are making a lasting impact, and I can’t wait to continue this journey alongside our valued partners, El Pasoans Fighting Hunger.
United, we can bridge the divide in book access.
