At Global Give-A-Book (GGAB), we’re dedicated to promoting youth literacy through programs like Lavender Libros, where community leaders read aloud to inspire children.
On September 17th, we joined Barnes & Noble Westside ABQ for a special event featuring Albuquerque native and Emmy Award-winning journalist Lauren Sánchez. Lauren is an Emmy Award-winning Journalist, pilot, and philanthropist.
Reading from her debut children’s book, The Fly Who Flew To Space (La Mosca Que Voló Al Espacio), a story about resilience and adventure. This event was a perfect match for our mission to foster a love for reading and encourage children to explore new worlds through books.
