Summer 2024
Rylee Brachle, the National American Miss New Mexico 2023, is a dedicated Global Give-A-Book volunteer and supporter. Having read for our Lavender Libros program at the 2023 Lavender Libros in the Sky hosted at the Anderson Abruzzo International Balloon Museum. Rylee's reign saw her deliver a keynote address on mental health at Atrisco Heritage Academy, and advocate for improvements to healthcare, showcasing her commitment to community service.
As Rylee passes on the crown and title of Miss New Mexico, we are excited to welcome Karyn Dodier as the 2024 National American Miss New Mexico. Karyn, with her diverse background in technology and storytelling, will continue the NAMNM tradition of promoting youth literacy alongside GGAB.
Karyn will join us for the 2024 Lavender in the Village Festival, reading for the Lavender Libros Literacy program. Join us in the "Family Zone" tent on Saturday, July 20 at Noon for this star-studded story time!
