In collaboration with community partners and local food pantries, GGAB has created a direct link to the children who can most benefit from our programs. These connections build on established delivery points for every box of food distributed, including GGAB materials.


2020 to Present




Animal Humane New Mexico

Albuquerque, NM


Animal Humane NM supports and missions to improve the lives of New Mexico’s cats and dogs through sheltering, adoptions, humane education, and veterinary service. Global Give-A-Book enhances the Animal Humane program through Shepherd Daisy. Shepherd Daisy is a dog that encourages children to read to their pets or stuffed animals for 15 minutes a day. Each child is gifted a new, quality book to keep.



APS Title I McKinney Vento Homeless Program

Albuquerque, NM


The APS McKinney-Vento Homeless Program offers a variety of support services for unhoused children and their families. These include transportation, clothing, and referrals to other resources within the city. Press Folder



Bienvenido Outreach Food Pantry

Santa Fe, NM


Bienvenido Outreach Food Pantry provides food and clothing to low-income families and unhoused community members. One of their most popular programs is the yearly Holiday Gift Program, where the pantry gives out hundreds of gifts to children with the help of local churches and community organizations. Community Pantry “Food For Kids” 

Gallup, NM


The FFK (Food For Kids) program helps reduce food insecurity for school children. In the 27 schools we serve, 810 children who might go hungry over the weekend are provided with nutritious food. In support of this program, Global Give-A-Book is a New Mexico-based corporation that has been giving new, quality books to the FFK program since 2021. This ensures that the children participating in the FFK program receive a new book with their food donation.



Cuidando Los Niños

Albuquerque, NM 


Cuidando Los Niños is an early childhood education center focusing on families experiencing homelessness. The organization offers a variety of resources to families to help break the cycle of poverty. Global Give-A-Book’s reading tutors visit the preschool-age children at Cuidando Los Niños for weekly readings of quality books to the program. Press Folder



El Pasoans Fighting Hunger

El Paso, TX


In El Paso, Texas, one in three children experiences food insecurity. El Pasoans Fighting Hunger combats the hunger crisis in the border region by providing nutritious food through community partners… because no one should go hungry. GGAB comes alongside this massive operation to ensure that children visiting the pantry through the distribution line or the social services department can take a new book home.



R4 Creating

Albuquerque, NM 


The mission of R4 Creating is to support organizations that are making valuable contributions to increasing the number of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) opportunities for students. Press Folder




Rio Grande Food Project

Albuquerque, NM


The Rio Grande Food Project’s mission is to alleviate hunger and cultivate long-term food security in the community. The Rio Grande Food Project supports the bilingual community by having bilingual staff and volunteers present. Global Give-A-Book enhances the program by hosting a bilingual UNM reading tutor. Roadrunner Food Bank

Roadrunner Food Bank is the largest food bank in New Mexico and serves 70,000 community members every week. Their mission is to provide nutritious, culturally appropriate food to New Mexicans as part of the path to ending hunger. Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Southwest


The Ronald McDonald House Charities offer housing to families traveling to hospitals for treatment that their children need. GGAB supplements this program by providing books to the children the Ronald McDonald program serves. Press Folder

Rio Rancho, NM


St. Felix Pantry provides free food, compassionate support, and referral services free of charge. The pantry's goal is to have its core values impact everything they do: respect for human dignity, compassion, justice and peace, transformation, and solidarity with the poor. The Food Depot “Casita de Comida-Española”

Santa Fe, NM  


The Casita de Comida in Española, NM is a program that assists The Food Depot (TDF), creating a community to develop a hunger-free New Mexico. The Casita de Comida is a Choice-Based Pantry service for families distributing food boxes. Global Give-A-Book enhances the program by giving every child a new award-winning book with their food donation. ​Press Folder



The Food Depot “Diaper Program”

Santa Fe, NM


​The SF Diaper Program helps provide supplemental disposable diapers to families in need. These diapers allow struggling families to keep a child in daycare, where disposables are required, so they can work or attend school. Global Give-A-Book enhances the Diaper Program by giving each family that participates in the Diaper Program a new book. Press Folder



The Food Depot Food 4 Kids

Santa Fe, NM


The Food Depot believes that childhood hunger is a crisis that must be addressed immediately. One in four children in New Mexico experiences hunger, a heartbreaking reality that affects us all. A child who experiences hunger cannot achieve his or her full potential; the consequences of hunger on a child’s social, emotional, and physical well-being are profound. GGAB enhances this program by providing literacy materials for children's educational enrichment. Press Folder



United Way Family Advocacy Center

Central New Mexico


The Family Advocacy Center is another program through United Way of Northern and Central New Mexico that supports families and children who are victims of violence. They offer various services, such as coordinating legal services, making safety plans, and giving food and clothing to families who need it.



United Way Laundry Love

Central New Mexico


United Way is an organization serving families and children in multiple counties in Northern and Central New Mexico. One of their programs, Laundry Love, provides free laundry services and supplies to low-income families through partnerships with laundromats. Global Give-A-Book supports Laundry Love by donating 90 books quarterly to be distributed at Laundry Love events and alongside the Family Advocacy Program. Press Folder
