Access to books and nutritious food are fundamental building blocks for a child's success. Our ongoing collaboration with the Rio Grande Food Project exemplifies this commitment. Recently, we delivered brand-new, wrapped books to their facility, aiming to enrich the lives of the families they serve.
The Rio Grande Food Project has been a cornerstone for the community since 1989, providing essential services such as a food pantry, urban garden, and community hub. Their mission to alleviate hunger and cultivate long-term food security aligns seamlessly with our goal to promote literacy and educational readiness among youth.
Together with dedicated individuals like José, the Community Resources Director, we continue to build a stronger, more literate community.
